                                                         FOOTBALL



Football is my favourite sport.

Football is a team sport, twenty-two players must play, eleven on each team. You need a ball and two goals.

To win you should put the ball in the opposite goal. You score a goal every time the ball completely crosses the opponent´s goal line.

You shouldn´t do fouls because in this game there are yellow and red cards. If the referee shows you a red card, you must leave the field.

The coach can change a player who has been injured. He can make up to three changes during the match.

Currently football and all sports are suspended because of the coronavirus.
I hope that soon we will be watching a lot of football.

                                                          TAKING THE BUS



Ticket seller: Good morning, how can I help you?

Passenger: I want a ticket to Sierra Nevada.

Ticket seller: Bus 45 is the one that goes to Sierra Nevada, what time is good for you?

Passenger: I would like to go early, the first one to go.

Ticket seller: The firts bus is at eight in the morning.

Passenger: How much does a ticket cost?.

Ticket seller: It is € 10.

Passenger: Here you have the money.

Ticket seller: Take your ticket, have a good trip. Thanks.

Passenger: Thanks, bye.

                                            MY HOLIDAYS IN BENALMÁDENA

This photo is in Benalmádena, Málaga. My family and I went there this summer on holiday.

In the photo I can see myseelf going down on a slide. This slide is the one that I liked the most because it had many bends. My brother Hugo liked ones going on the most dangerous.

This photo was taken by my mother, she is very afraid of slides and doesn´t like nothing.

It was good fun, I would like to come back.

JOHN McENROE

John McEnroe has been one of the best tennis player. He is remembered for being a great tennis player but also for his strong personality in which he faces umpires and referees. In 1980 he played the Wimblendon  final against Björn Borg, for a long time it was considered the best final and he lost almost after four hours of play. In 1986 he left profesional tennis and is currently a commentator on the Eurosport channel.

NEYMAR

During the World Cup in Russia everyone talked about the falls of Neymar. Some said the defenders tackled him really hard and others that he was exaggerating. My father and I thought he was exaggerating because his falls were not credible.

Once the World Cup was over he admited in an interview that he had exaggerated. The most exaggerated foul was in the roud of 16 against Mexico, and the opponent moved gently  to take the ball and Neymar falls to the ground, he starts screaming and gestures of pain.

Since leaving FC Barcelona I don´t like him, I think the team is better without him.

KIRK DOUGLAS

Issur Danielovitch Demsky is the real name of Kirk Douglas. He received an honorary Oscar in 1996 and he is the father of the actor Michael Douglas.
He is my grandfather´s favourite actor. My grandfather told me that his most famous movie was Spartacus an that he always saw it during the Holy Week.
He died on 5th February,2020 and the other day I read a piece of news that said he had left all his money to charity. I think it´s a nice action. Good for him.

WHAT I NEED TO PASS ENGLISH?

English is my favourite subject. What I usually do to pass English is: do my homework, do the writing exercises, pay attention in  class, take notes, review the previous exams, I tidy my folder and pass the exams. Also at weekeneds I comment on Alberto´s blog, I correct them and put them on my blog.

MARADONA GOAL

For me the best goal in history was Maradona´s goal. This happened in the 1986 Wold Cup in Mexico. Argentine was in the quarterfinals when they faced England, it was more than a match as they were at war for the Maldives. The best Maradona in history was seen in this World Cup. His goal was incredible, he dribbles to almost the entire team and beats the goalkeeper. With that goal they went into the semifinals. Argentine won this World Cup, which is the only one that Maradona has.
