XAVI

Xavi Hernández is one of my favourite players. He is the best Spanish playerand the best middle center in history. He trained in the lower categories of FC Barcelona, better known as La Masia. He debuted in 1998 in the Spanish Super Cup against Real Mallorca and also scored his first goal.

He has forty titles in his medal list, among which four Champions League, one World Cup and two European Cups.

He has been a game distributor player and always with the ball on his feet. I think it will take me a long time to see another player like him.

John: Lessons for your age are four days a week, each they a different style. On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at 7.00 p.m.
Peter: How much does it cost?
John: The class is €80 a month.
Peter: Thanks, I will talk to my parents.

Hi,
My name is Alejandro Venegas. I´m 12 years old and I´m from Salobreña. I have one brother called Hugo. My school is near my house and is a state school. I get up at 7.30 in the morning. Then I go to school at 8.00 in the morning. I study from 8.15 to 2.45, from Monday to Friday. I do homework, I revise the subjects that I have that day and I watch the Ipad. Sometimes I read adventure books and I play ball with my brother. This year, I also plan to take swimming lessons four days a week. Do you like swimming?

ALEXANDER THE GREAT

Alexander the Great was born in Pella (Macedonia) in 356 B.C. He has been considered the greatest strategist of all time. In just eleven years he defeated the Persian Empire and conquered an immense territory that spanned from Greece to India. He created a single currency, imposed Greek as a common language, opened trade, roads and irrigation Canals were built.

He became a myth after dying at the age of 33 in Babylon in 323 B.C.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

This competition began in 1956 and was called European Cup. Since then there have been twenty-two champions from ten different countries. The player who has scored the most goals in the competition is Cristiano Ronaldo with a total of 129 goals. Real Madrid is the team that has played the final most times, winning thirteen occasions. The stadium where the final has been played most times is in Wembley with a total of seven times.

The last Champions League champion is Liverpool. It was fourteen years ago when they  last won their last Champions League. They have a total of six trophies.

I wish that FC Barcelona will played this year´s final, which will be played in Istanbul.

Milan

Milan in the early 80s was a team in decline until Silvio Berlusconi bought it in 1986. They bought some great Dutch players such as: Gullit, Rijkaard and Van Basten. During the 90s they won three Champions League. In 1994 they played the final against Barcelona in Athens and won by 4-0; goals from Massaro, Savicevic and Desailly.Milan is currently a team which tries to be where it was.
