Pelé is considered one of the best players in history. People who say he is the best in history are based on the fact that he is the only player in history to win there World Cups.

From my point of view ,he´s not the best because he played football that was very different from today´s and the World Cup didn´t  have as many phases as it does now. Until a few years ago he held one of the records that seemed impossible to break, being the player who had scored the most goals with the same club. Another record that could be broken in the next World Cup will be that of  Brazil´s top scorer, which could be surpassed by Neymar.

I would have liked to see him play in today´s football.

Maldini is a football legend, I think he is one of the best centre back in history. He has one of the most succesful careers, he has achieved seven Italian leagues and five Champions League but has not managed to be world champion.

What I admire the most about his career is his longevity, as he spent twenty four years with AC Milan and fourteen with the Italian national team. I believe that currently there is no player like him because it is very rare for a player to spend so many years in the same team.

He currently works as sports director at AC Milan, where he is doing a very good job.

Carlos Alcaraz has eliminated very tough opponents to win this tournament thanks to the victory he has become the youngest number 1 in the world in history.

At 19 years old, few tennis players have been seen to have the level and ambition that he has. Despite not waching much tennis, I have to say that I found the match very exciting and I think he was a fair winner. Sometimes when I see him play he reminds me of Nadal but he is still a long way from reaching his level.

It is still early to know if he will become a tennis legend, he is on the right track.

 This summer the Spanish team won its fourth championship in history, defeating France in a tough match.

Before the championship I heard that the European press said that Spain was not among the favorites to win the championship, not being favorites favored the team because they didn´t have as much pressure and they worked better.

Despite not being a big fan of basketball since the quaterfinals, I saw all the games, it was a very solid team, they worked as a team and the players were motivated. The final was very interesting, both teams played very well, it was very exciting, Spain won with authority.

I hope this the beginning of a golden age.

 Rger Federer is one of the best tennis player in history, he has one of the best careers that has been seen, his twenty Grand Slams stand out.

One of the things for which he seems to me one the best in history is because of  his longevity, because he has been active and competing against the best for twenty three years.

What I like most about him is his personality, he is humble, kind and I don´t remember him argue with a player on the tennis court.

Roger´s friendship with Nadal seems fantastic to me, on the day of his retirement neither of them could stop crying  and they were even sitting holding hands, they admire each other.

It will be difficult not to see a Grand Slam without him.

 SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES LIKE FACEBOOK ARE THE BEST WAY FOR TEENAGERS TO COMMUNICATE

Nowadays, most teenagers communicate through social networks. But is it the best way to communicate?

Firstly, I´m going to talk about the arguments in favor. You have all the information you want in a single click, it is also positive that you can talk to another person instantly. Currently  teenagers use  Instagram and Whatsapp to comunicate. Facebook is a social network that they don´t usually use what´s more I would say it´s outdated.

However, there are negative. Having so much information makes you not know what news is true and what is false. In addition, the "likes" make you affect the opinion of others.

On balance, I think you have to make a responsible use of social networks and control the time spent with your mobile to avoid addictions

 AN EMAIL TO A FRIEND ABOUT PLANS AND PROBLEMS

Hello Peter,

Thanks for worrying about me. In the next holiday I´going to a camping. I´m a little nervous because        we´ll be sleeping on the floor, I´m afraid of insects. I have never slept outdoors and I am terrified that mosquitoes and spiders will bite me. My mother knows about this problem and she will bring mosquito repellent and cream for the bites. I´m going to try to be calm and I´m going to try to enjoy these days with the family.

And you would tell me some advice? Tell me so I know I´m not the only one.

The debate about living in a city or in a village is endless, all opinions are respectable, but for me the village is better. In my opinion, it is better to live in the village, although everything has its pros and cons.

For me, without a doubt, some of the advantages of living in a town are that you can walk everywhere without having to have a vehicle. People are friendlier and we all know each other. You can also buy in small stores where the quality of the products is better than what you can find in large stores.

On the other hand, in the city there is a greater variety of places to go, such as museums, cinemas, musicals... Also, in the cities there more opportunities to work.

Perhaps over time my opinions will change, but for now I like  living in a town.

 Due to the pandemic, the Olympic Games were held a year later, in 2021.

I really like the Olympic Games because I watch sports there aren´t famous and I find them interesting. I also discover sports that I didn´t know they existed thanks to the fact that Spanish people win medals in these sports. A sport thar surprised me was sport climbing which for the first time was on Olympic sport and surprisingly it was won by a Spaniard, you need great skill and a very good physical condition to avoid falling.

United States en China are almost always the countries that win the most medals. I would like Spain to be there one day.

 Hi! I´m Alejandro I´m in Salobreña now. I´m in the hotel but today I have visited a lot of monuments of this town.

First I have gone to the castle what a beauty! It´s so big and beautiful too. Later I have visited the beach but I haven´t visited the river Guadalfeo yet. I have eaten in the beach bars and what a delicious food they have!. It was the best food I have ever eaten. In the afternoon I went for a walk in the fields of the zone but I haven´t seen animals, I have seen trees and plants, what beautiful trees Salobreña has!.

It was one of the best expereriences of my life. I recommend this place.

 Burnout is very common thing in the lives of student due to all the homework, projects and exams that we have to do.

In my case when I´m most burmout are the weeks that I have exams because I don´t have all the time I want to rest. I believe that to avoid burnout in studies you have to plan your study hours, make a schedule with the time dedicated to homework and to study what you give every day. Although this seems very easy to do, it is difficult to put into practice.

Regardiess, if you really want to pass the year you have to work hard and strive to improve.

 During the year 2021 many goals have been scored but definitely the best ones are the ones I have seen in this video.

Acordding to the video the best goal of 2021 was scored by Salah. For me too because he dribbles past five players and defines very well in front of the goalkeeper. There is a goal that seems impressive to me, it was scored by Schick in the European Championship, it is very difficult because it is from midfield.

One of the goals that I think will enter the ranking of the 20 best goals this year is the goal scored yesterday by Frenkie De Jong, because the ball takes a spin that makes impossible for the goalkeeper to stop it.

 I had seen the slogan "Nothing is impossible" many times but I didn´t know that it was related to Muhammad Ali. This slogan from a major sportwear brand was taken from a speech by this amazing boxer.

This boxer had a difficult childhood because of racism, but one day, thanks to a policeman who advised him to practise boxing, he became the best.

Boxing isn´t a sport that I follow but I have been doing my research and most people who like boxing agree that he is the best boxer in history. Unfortunately he died in 2016 due to Parkinson´s.

Although there have been good boxers like George Foreman or Mike Tyson, I think it will be difficult for there to be a boxer with his charisma and his way of boxing.

 After having seen the video I would include some footballers, like Piqué and Puyol.

Without a doubt, for me the best ones that appear in the video are Pasarella and Beckenbauer. They were very revolutionary for their time, in the case of Pasarella he was the first center-back to attack and Beckenbauer the first center-back to win the Ballon d´Or.

In my opinion, Puyol is the best center-back in history because he had a great header and ordered the team. Some things I admire about him are his bravery, humility, leadership and respect from him.

Currently, a center-back that I like for his game and who has great potential is Ronald Araujo, but he still has a long way to go to be one of the best in history.

 German football has produced great footballers throughout history but without a doubt for me the best has been Gerd Müller, better known as "Torpedo Müller".

He was an incredible goalscorer, he held the record for the most goals in a year until Messi broke it. I think he was a great player but he wasn´t that famous because he coincided with Cruyff and Beckenbauer´s time. His game was different from the others because he didn´t give passes to his teammates, he only finished off to score a goal, perhaps this was one of his great defects.

He should be a reference for all forwards.

A TRAVEL BLOG

What a great trip we are doing! We have been driving several hours until we have reached Seville.

We have visited La Giralda, we haven´t been in Plaza España yet. We are going to Huelva, but we still hve to see monumets in Seville that we will see another time.

What amazing beaches! It is the best I have been to, their sand is very fine but I still haven´t used to the water, which is very cold.

We have already eaten fish in the beach bars, how delicious! We are going to stay a coupe of days here visiting the area.

I have been looking at photos with my mother of our next destination Algarve it´s so interesting!

I´ll write to you tomorrow.

 The final of the Australian Open 2022 has been the tennis match that I have enjoyed the most. Rafa Nadal has become the tennis  player with the most Grand Slam tournaments in history.

I started watching the match in the third set, I was really enjoying it but I thought he was going to lose. What Nadal did coming back from that set was incredible, I couldn´t stop watching the match until it was over. In the end after an epic confrontation he ended up winning the match.

For me Nadal is an example of resilience, never giving up and an example for my generation. I hope he continues playing tennis for more years to see it.

 Last month I heard the news that Paco Gento had died. He was a legend of Real Madrid and Spanish football.

What should be highlighted about this great footballer are his trophies, he is the only footballer so far to have won six Champions Leagues and twelve Leagues.

What I´ve seen of Paco Gento has surprised me because for a player from the 50s and 60s his game was quite innovative, very similar to today is. What I like most about this player is that he was very verrtical and fast.

I don´t think his records can be beaten. He will remain a legend for many years to come.

 For me, Johan Cruyff is one of the most important and influential people in the history of Barca.

He had two magnificent careers, one as a player and the other as a coach. He is one of the best players in history because he could occupy all three attacking possitions in the same game. It should also be noted that he won three Champions Leagues with Ajax and three Ballon d´ors.

Without a doubt, his most memorable stage is when he was a coach of Barca, there he made great advances for football, such as making the goalkeeper play with his feet or creating the position of lateral defense.

It was unfortunate that he died so young because he still had a lot to contribute to football. Currently, in my opinion, the coach who has followed his philosophy the most is Pep Guardiola.

Only time will tell if there is another coach like him.

 DESCRIBING LIFE AT SUMMER CAMP

A few years ago I was at a camp where I had a great time.

I had to get up at nine o´clock because an hour later I had to do activities. The first activity I did was canoeing in which it wasn´t allowed to carry a mobile phone. After eating we had to go to the forest to do different activities such as: zip-lining, it was so much fun.

At night we met the monitors, who where the ones who took care of us all day. And they told us what we should do the next day.

The worst thing about the camp was the food, which was not good and of poor quality. Although the weather should have been good, it rained during a day in which we couldn´t do activities.

Micahel: It would be better if we looked at the indications on the teacher´s blog

Peter: Shall I do the work in Word?

Michael: If I were you I would do it in PowerPoint because you can make it more complete.

Peter: That´s a great idea¡ Shall I put videos or would it be better to put only images?

Michael: It would be better if the work had photos and videos, so the teacher would qualify it higher.

Peter: You have helped me a lot I will do everything you have told me.

Michael: It has been a pleasure helping you, see you in class.

 RULES AT MEDITERRANEAN SEA SECONDARY SCHOOL

Many rules of my Secundary School have been added by the pandemic. Today I must explain to the new student the rules of this Secondary school.

Me: Iñaki, you must wear the face mask and it is only allowed to remove it while eating.

Iñaki: Do I have to wear it during the break?

Me: Yes, and you shouldn´t talk to students from other classes.

Iñaki: Oh, at my other Secondary School it was allowed.

Me: Other rules are you mustn´t smoke, that you have to respect the teachers and you shouldn´t interrupt classes.

Iñaki: And how should I deliver the class work?

Me: You must request the head of studies for a password and you would be allowed to access the platform we use, called Moodle.

Iñaki: Ok, thanks.

AN INTERNET POST ABOUT A MATCH

I have just come back from a great football match. It was at the Nuevo Los Carmenes Stadium there were thousands of people because it was the last match of the season and there was an impressive atmosphere.

There was one team more superior to the other because the Granada players had many injuries. He also had a new coach who didn´t know the players well.

Barça had just won the Copa del Rey and there was a player who was the most outstanding that was Gavi. If you have the opportunity to go and see this player, do it, he is one of the best players I have seen.

 INVITING A FRIEND AND ARRANGING TO MEET

Alejandro: Josue, would you like to go to see the match next weekend?

Josue: I´d like to but I can´t because I have to do physics work.

Alejandro: I´ll help you do it during the week so you can come with me.

Josue: Yeah, how about doing it on Friday?

Alejandro: Ok. The match is on Saturday at 16:15.

Josue: What teams will play?

Alejandro: The match is Granada vs Barça. How about going earlier and see the arrival of the bus.

Josue: Yes, let´s go, it will be amazing. Do you fancy going in my dad´s car?

Alejandro: I agree. I´ll wait for you at the town hall at 14:15.

Josue: That´s a great idea. I´ll see you on Saturday.
